Along with the development of computer and network technology, the campus network in colleges and universities plays an increasingly important role in teaching, scientific research and management. The level of informatization construction becomes an important parameter for measuring the condition of universities. As the increase of the number of business and users hosted by the campus network, the disadvantages of the traditional campus network gradually appear. Firstly, the single ISP (Internet Service Provider) not only brings the limit of access speed, but also easily causes disconnection of the campus network because of single point of failure. At the same time, the destination site server of the user access distributes on different ISP providers, leading to a slower speed of visiting other Internet access providers. Secondly, as many colleges and universities provide the internal and external network services, such as simple WEB services, e-mail services, video services, and so on, there may be still many problems by using single-link access. Such as, large visit causing slower response of servers even crash; the server’s critical data cannot be backed up in real time; how to improve network access to internal server access, and so on.In order to ensure the efficient operation of campus network, we use a load-balancing technology to prevent or alleviate these problems above. That is, commonly used campus network is with multi-ISP access, internal servers using multiple servers at the same time providing service and real time backup implementation. However, how to efficiently and flexibly use these links and server resources in more links and servers to provide better network services is the problem that the load balancing of campus network should solve. This thesis is a study of load balancing of the new campus network set up after the earthquake disaster in Aba Teachers’College. Based on the analysis of latest technology and the actual situation of our current campus network, after careful analysis is completed.
