Industrial soot and dust pollution is very serious in China, which does harm to people's health. Because it is small, cheap, safe and efficient to deal with all kinds of dust, the Pulse-Jet Collector is the most suitable equipment for the control of soot and dust pollution. However, the study of the Pulse-Jet Collector is not enough now. This paper studied how to analyze Pulse-Jet collectors easily and efficiently. The main points of the study are as follows:Firstly, this paper proposes a universal second-development model independent of actual finite element analyses. This model is not only able to describe operations of most finite element analyses in the same way, but also capable of describing different FEM software second-development projects easily.Secondly, this paper makes use of XML to describe some frequently-used modeling operations about Pulse-Jet Collectors, and stores these XML files in a library. Users are capable of analyzing easily and efficiently with the use of this XML library. Finally, this paper implements a software with the use of Visual C++ and the UPFs interface provided by ANSYS, which is able to analyze different kinds of Pulse-Jet collectors which are used under different conditions. In a word, this software can lower the difficulty and improve the efficiency of analyses of Pulse-Jet collectors.
