EPON Fault Management Based On Event

With the rapid development of Internet multiply and broadband services, it is growing demands of network quality. As the backbone network has sufficient capacity to support the development of Internet services, the quality of access network bottlenecks in the entire transmission network . EPON with a high bandwidth, low cost, easy to use and upgrading of the fine characteristics ,has become the first choice of access network. At the same time,the study of EPON Network Management System has become a new growing topic. The study and development of EPON Network Management System to improve the bearing capacity of the business and the operational capacity of equipment is necessary. The Fault Management regarding a network management system said is all-important.The Fault Management System is the code of a network management system .The Fault Management System must be designed to have comprehensive functions ,high reliability,broad use scope and be easy to use.This paper discusses the EPON Fault Management Sub System Design and Implementation.This paper analyzes EPON Network Management and Fault Management ,compares some Network Management System all over the world and lists their merits and shortcoming. According to the characters of EPON Network,the system designs special Fault Management based on events . The database tables is designed basing on event table;The frame of the system uses Spring Frame ; the client of the system is based on MVC Structure and uses XML to add menus nimbly ; Hibernate is used to design the database and the Communication Interface of the system is designed with javaRMI . We illustrate the hard and software environment the system has to have to run ; We also show the result of the system test and analyze the result . At the end of the paper , we sum up the strengths and improvement of the future direction of EPON Network Fault Management based on enent .
