This paper researches and designs a brand-new P2P live stream model based on a hybrid trust scheme.The traditional P2P stream application improves the quality of the stream transmission.However,it also brings lots of security problems.Because of the openness of the P2P network,large quantities of nodes can join and quit the network easily,who can be either helpful or venomous.The loss of the central server in P2P network makes authentication very hard to realize.Nodes can only recognize those who have exchanged information with them.This mechanism provides opportunities to those venomous nodes,which can be a fatal security trouble for the network.In this paper,we firstly analyze the research progress and key technique on P2P live stream applications,especially those research productions on P2P trust scheme and compare within them about their applicability and disadvantages.This work provides the reader a knowledge preparation for the coming new hybrid trust scheme.The new hybrid trust scheme,which we name it HTS,mainly utilizes the Hybrid Structure topology.It consists of a media source,SN(super nodes),peers.For the computation of the trust value,the algorithm collects partial trust value and statistically computes the only global trust value for every node by creating a simplified iterative formula,which makes the update very easily.For the storage of the trust value,this paper propose a distributed strategy based on encryption and decryption algorithms.All the trust values will be hashed into certain nodes and managed.However,nobody knows where his trust value is stored.That makes venomous nodes very hard to attack its own TB(trust bucket) and improves the security of the system.HTS is quite different from traditional trust schemes on the support of anonymity.It allows non-venomous nodes get services from P2P network. At the mean time,it restricts the service quality on those who contribute little to the network.Based on HTS,This paper proposes a multi-node transmission P2P live stream model.Through fragment selection algorithm and buffer management on clients and the change on service mode on servers,the model mixes HTS and live stream service smoothly.The P2P live stream model based on HTS is a successful trial in P2P live stream applications.Although there are plenty of researches in this field,few have got in practice.This model does not only support the traditional P2P characteristic and high quality,but also brings a security mechanism based on trust scheme to P2P live systems.At the mean time,it does not absorb much resource from the system.It makes the live system robust and effective.
