This article realizes image data capturing system using SC8800 MCU of the Spreadtrum corporation .The project is in SC8800 microprocessor platform, and using embedded Threadx OS in it. It completes image capturing, compression, storing and control tasks. System uses SC8800 as the main processor, sensor of the ov series as image capturing equipment, also uses software to compress the video data with JPEG.The camera gathering original video signal and convert into the digital signal that is transferred to ISP module through the local bus interface.It is responsible for real-time gathering, compression and transmission picture data.We realized one digitized monitoring solution, the volume is small, and the cost is inexpensive.During the project development,we analyzed some representative image capturing system of remote terminal uint, and abstracted a work model from them.We also analyzed some key technologies of the image capturing, image capturing pattern, image display mechanism, compression and storage form design.Second, we chose the SC8800 as the development platform, on which we built the embedded system of image capturing system, and describe the module function of the SC8800 and the software structure of this embedded system.Through analyzing some bootloaders and the SC8800 chip, we created our bootloader depending on the u-boot which is suit for our embedded system and increase the development pace of the image capturing system.Finally, by the characteristics of this system, we implement the driver of the Sensor module and the LCD module, and describe briefnessly the compression pattern of the picture; finally we give the picture captured by this image capturing system.
