Multi-camera tracking system composed by two or more cameras. the use ofmultiple cameras can compensate for the limited scope of a single camera view, thetarget block, chaotic scene, the target deformation problems. It is an effective solution totrace moving target in complex environment. Multi-camera tracking system, as aeffective solution in a complex environment, can use in traffic control, remote video,military equipment, medical consultation, monitoring and other areas of the scene,so itis very important for researchers to study. The tracking system based on embeddedplatform have the benefits of embedded platform as small size, low cost and highstability, attracting more and more attention and research.This paper first discusses three moving target detection algorithm theory,it is theoptical flow method, the frame difference methodand Gaussian mixture backgroundsubtraction method. analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of these types ofalgorithms, simulating the frame difference method and the Gaussian mixturebackground subtractionmethod.we can learn that the frame difference method canquickly detect moving objects, Gaussian mixture model can adapt the changing lightand background for a complex environment. Studied the case of vision overlapmatching and multi-camera target coordinate mapping problem, using polar coordinatesto calculate the geometric constraints matching matrix.Then introduced the TI Davinci ARM+DSP based dual-core structure of theDM6446chip, analysis of the internal structure of dual-core chips. TI DM6446EVMboard’s hardware components are described. Then,Building Davinci development toolchain, Linux kernel and file system for migration, establishing linux developmentenvironment. Discussed in detail the davinci working principle of software complexity,especially analyzing the Davinci software development xDM compliant and codecengine CE.Finally, build ARM side and DSP-side application control program softwarealgorithm, set up dual embedded platform, can be transmitted through the network.
