With the increasing demands for high-precision in the menufacture, the requires for precision of CNC machine tools are also increased.Presetting Apparatus for accessing tool parameters also began to be widely used, the performance and efficiency of which become the primary concerns of manufacturing enterprises .This paper try to research and build the measure and control system of tool presetting apparatus based on images, four parts of the work as follow have been finished:1,After analyzing the information of the domestic and foreign apparatuses, this paper tried to explain the tasks of the measure and control system of tool presetting apparatus and analysed its performances.After this work, it selected out the appropriate Singlechip and Step electromotor for setting up the control system.2,After studying the basic theory of Image Processing and investigateing the work and capability demands of the measure system, this paper selected out the appropriate image sensor and software to program for upbuilding the credible measure system.3,By studing the holistic capability of the control and measure system, this paper brought forword and designed some assistant equipments and functions.4,Making use of the theory of Multisensor Data Fusion(MDSDF) in the tasks of this measure and control system and in the data processing, this paper analyses and establishes of the data processing flow, which is beneficial to programming in the lower computer.The value of this paper is to investigate the advanced apparatus following the overseas tendency of the machine and equipment manufacturing and to design Image-tool Presetting Instruments with better quality and capability, as well as with our own patent , which will satisfy the requires of the domestic enterprises.
