Study Of Web Software Performance Testing

Software testing has become a type of sound theoretical system since a long-term development.Methodology of software testing has tent to be mature and diversified.The application of the Internet increasingly changes human's live.The universality,interactivity and easily use of web makes web performance important.Therefore,the research of testing methods based on evaluating the performance of web is of great practical value.In this paper,the traditional testing methods are improved by some existing performance testing tools.The improvement is mainly focus on testing target.For example,increase response rate as one of the performance target.Besides,a new design of testing scene and logistic process is proposed in this paper.By setting the number of virtual user and other targets,the performance of Web system can be valued more accurately.The component library management and service is taken as testing case in this paper.The simulation is done on one single PC which is a client as well as a server.For example,set virtual user or do some acts of accessing MIS,such as logging system,inquiring component,increasing new component and publishing tool package,etc.Testing targets are obtained by these acts so that the limit of them can be found in this situation and the result could be the reference index of further improvement.
