With the rapid development of modern computer technologies, the simulation machine has been applied in many fields including electric power, chemical industry, and aviation and spaceflight. It also plays a very important role in technical training and scientific research. The development process of simulation machine is mainly to transform the mathematic model of object into computer program, and then to operate the program in computer so as to realize the object's data simulation of dynamic and static features. In that way, we can use simulation technology in technical training and scientific research. The core of simulation system used in power plant is model software which mainly means fluid network model and equipment model. This paper outspreads enclosing the development of model of compressible fluid network, and enclosing the establishment of model of object.The fluid network model is the base to build system simulation model. The traditional simulation system used in power plant widely makes use of nodal method to solve the coupling problem between pressure and flow in the fluid network model. This paper analyses and studies nodal method, and uses method based on graphic configuration to successfully develop simulation model of compressible fluid network. This model has the features including rapid calculation speed, high accuracy, and good stability, which make up for the shortcomings of simulation software.Regarding analysis and configuration of real controlling system, we go to the site and designing agency to collect SAMA diagram of real controlling system, and then to do system analysis and module design. Finally, we begin system configuration with simulation machine, and then carefully analyze the features of mentioned simulation system and all of its functions. At the same time, the simulation scope can be confirmed. We utilize language of C++, Windows socket technology, and multi thread technology to ensure the communication between simulation machines.This paper establishes simulation model used in power plant by means of modular modeling and graphic configuration, and discusses the construction process of system model. It also carries out numerical analysis of the established model, and studies static and dynamic features by means of simulation. The research results have been applied in the development and practice of 50MW simulation system of power units, which has been proved effective.
