Currently, along with the rapid development of social politics, economy and technology, the work of public security is confronting with unprecedented challenges and opportunities. All kinds of crime activities have showed the new features of intellectuality, high-tech and information-based, and the struggle situations faced by public security organs are more complicated than ever before. All of these demands higher professional skills of the police. Against this background, in recent years the information-based construction has been taken more seriously as never before. All kinds of information systems applied to information support and data integration have been built one after another, and is playing a greater role in investigating and handling cases. But the issue that how to utilize the existing infoimation technology achievements in the crime scene effectively in order to cope with the characteristics of mobile, unexpected and urgent in the work of public security and resolve the requirements of quick response, immediate action and on-site information support, has become one of the most important subjects in police security organs.Subject to the above background, the essay was born. This paper elaborated on how to realize such complicated functions as information gathering management, data transmission and maintenance, team work management, on-site information support and system administration, etc, which supported by the following technologies, such as police comprehensive information, intelligent phones, software like J2ME, J2EE, embedded database, and layered Agent-based computer collaboration and network communications. The mentioning functions will provide powerful data information support to the on-site work and promote business synthesis and information connecting, etc.
