Abstract/Summary:
Forest landscape 3D visualization technology is an advanced visualization technology in forestry on a practical application, and has broad application prospects in the computer-aided gardens and landscape design, environmental prediction and visualization, computer animation, games and virtual scenes drafting and so on. Three-dimensional visualization of trees in the application of technology is the foundation to achieve forest landscape visualization.The main contents include two aspects of the study: the first is based on the Onyx Treemaker trees modeling; the second is based on OpenGL and Visual C + + modeling trees, including texture mapping technology-based graphical modeling and the trees based on fractal Algorithm modeling trees. The paper has implemented Efficient and real visual effects of trees, and provided ideas and methods on a further study of trees for the three-dimensional visualization technology.First of all, papers on the trees of the three-dimensional visualization technology research methods were discussed, with the focus of analysis and comparison of the L-systems approach, IFS methods, particle systems approach, the method of random process, A-systems approach, GIS-based research methods, Image-based research methods and software integration approach. Then, based on the Onyx Treemaker, modeling ideas and modeling features of Onyx Treemaker were given. The oak trees and bushes of Bao Tianman are regarded as a research object model in the paper, through the adjustment on the trunk data, branches data, leaf shape and leaf color and light parameters, satisfactory Simulation effect has been gained on the oak trees and shrubs of Bao Tianman. Second, the Visual C + + under the basic framework for OpenGL general procedural framework are given, based on graphics and texture mapping technology, Visual C + + in the use of OpenGL, real-time processing methods through texture, texture mapping method of modeling the oak tree, has achieved better simulation effect. Finally, based on fractal algorithm modeling of trees, through the trees on the structure and growth model algorithm analysis, a good simulation effect has been obtained.In concluding this work of our predecessors on the basis of three-dimensional visualization technology trees for the study, the papers focus on the trees Onyx Treemaker modeling technology, based on the graphic texture mapping trees modeling techniques based on fractal algorithm and the trees built Die technical discussions, and Bao Tianman Nature Reserve, the oak tree simulation, which has achieved good visual effects, for further follow-up study to lay a good foundation. The paper has completed the following tasks:First, through access to large domestic and foreign literature, the existing trees visualization methods were summed up and concluded.Second, analysis and study the number of representative virtual plant software, to understand the way the preparation of such software skills, so as to achieve lay the foundation on the oak tree emulation of Bao Tianman Nature Reserve.Third, the use of trees three-dimensional modeling software named Onyx Treemaker to solve the modeling problem of the four species (Caryophyllaceous category, broad-leaved types, like needles, brown-Lang), which has focused on the oak tree Modeling of Bao Tianman Nature Reserve.Fourth, giving the Visual C + + under the basic framework for OpenGL General procedural framework, using this framework, with reducing the difficulty of developing and enhancing the universal code of conduct on the use of OpenGL graphics application development has a reference.Fifth, based on the graphic texture mapping technology to achieve the oak tree modeling, constructing realistic trees in the visual has reached a certain three-dimensional effect, to promote virtual reality, games and other fields can also meet certain application requirements.Sixth, fractal algorithm based on the model of trees, the trees are given the structure and growth model algorithm, a realistic simulation effect can be obtained in the end.
