A Research To The Custom-made Technology Of Software Platform Based On Meta-model

A great many software resources are available from software industries with their developments. It becomes of primary importance for those industries and some research institutes to complete new systems by effectively taking advantage of the resources while reducing software development costs, improving software qualities and advancing industry developments, etc. It's hard to integrate these resources due to their different development purposes, methods and platform technologies for their reuse. In this paper, the author starts with an introduction of the resources and poses six issues regarding the description, database establishment, requirement specification, retrieval, assembly and procedure verification in these resources with some references to the related researches in this field.This paper focuses on the resource description and requirements specification in custom-made software platform based on meta-model and simply explains the resource retrieval and the assembly technology. Firstly, the paper presents a four-layer system structure in the platform with a detailed introduction of their functions and tasks. Secondly, the author suggests a meta-model of the resource description to solve the issues concerning the resource description in the platform, and creatively applies the requirement description mode into the meta-model. There exists another issue regarding the platform accomplishment: the traditional unformalized requirement analysis can not be understood by machines, that is, an automatic shift from business to system can't be achieved. The paper suggests a method of requirement description based on the resources to solve the above mentioned issues. The method refers to how the system requirement can be described using the resources on the basis of resource description meta-model and introduces a process of the requirement description and a requirement storage method according to XML meanwhile. Finally, the author gives a resource retrieval method on resource classification technology and a resource assembly method on framework technology.
