The Heterogeneous Data Integration Based On DirectX

With the rapid development of virtual reality technique, not only the imitating building on computer become a new need, but also the integrating management of various data imitated is a pendent problem. This paper researches the data integration and management method in building based on 3D virtual technical. Design and carry out a system of heterogeneous data integration based on DirectX, and offer a unified data management platform to an administrator.This paper introduces the background knowledge, present status of researching the heterogeneous data integration and management, and the meaning of the heterogeneous data integration and management in virtual building. Define the design goal and function request of the heterogeneous data integration system in building.By comparing with several methods of data integration, it explores a befitting method to virtual building for heterogeneous and introduces the technology interrelated. Mainly include: component technology, middleware technology and OLE DB technology. And combine three techniques together, based on the pendent problems of virtual building, put forward a designing blue print of the heterogeneous data integration and management system in virtual building, also expound each module's function in the system briefly. Combine the component technique and OLE DB technique to design a data integration middle ware can greatly raise the system's expansibility, generality and flexibility.Then this paper design and implementation of the important data integration and management component in detail, which include: analyze the format of the x document and the Mesh structure thoroughly, design the image data driving and integration component, integrated image data show and management component, figure data driving component, figure data integration component, integrated figure data show and management component. According to the common database of the virtual building used and the characteristics of database integration, make use of the ADO technique carry out integrated module based on different database. Finally,the paper makes summary of the work on the design and implementation of the heterogeneous data integration and management system based on DirectX. The experiment result proves the rationality and the feasibility of design and the application value, provides an initial experiment platform for the deeper research in future.
