Research Of Intelligent Charging System Of Home Security Robot

Presently, home service robot develops fast and home security robot also has the same tendency, which is a significant branch of the former one. Durative power is of great importance to home security robot, because it needs to work continuously. However, most home security robot utilizes battery as power source and this has a big constraint on power-on time and delivery, which hinders home security robot from going further. Therefore, this paper focuses on intelligent changing system of home security robot.Firstly, according the research and analysis of intelligent charging techniques domestic and abroad, this paper puts forward novel charging methods: butting based on odometer and wandering butting based on laser-navigating -signal. Furthermore, it is presented the butting domain, the butting requirements and the butting parameters. In response to this design idea, the mechanical system mainly consists of displacement error guiding module and angle error guiding module, which can rectifies trajectory error due to navigation system error, robot movement system error and so on. Mechanical system also includes bumping block, ortho-position module and electric pole module.In the guiding system design, this paper combines laser-guiding-signal and wireless data module to realize robot navigation. There is a good fit between hardware system and mechanical system. In addition to the module mentioned above, the hardware system also includes power managing system, robot stopping module and so on.Finally, we have experiments on the security robot platform and make mechanical system butting, guiding butting experiments respectively. Experiment results prove that butting algorithm is right and navigation system and mechanical system are reasonable. The intelligent charging system satisfies the design requirements and can supply power to the home security robot.
