Collaborative CAPP For Manufacturing Based On PLM

CAPP is responsible for manufacturing process, as well as manufacturing resource and time which is needed by product manufacturing. CAPP is the bridge which connects product design and manufacturing, and has important impact in product quality and manufacturing cost as well as rapid response-to-market. In the environment of modern enterprise, how to satisfy the requirement of diverse products and supporting rapid innovation of new product development is the key issue of CAPP. Based on these problems, the dissertation has put forward the contemporary CAPP information management strategy- Collaborative CAPP for manufacturing based on PLM.Collaborative CAPP is the new hot point of CAPP study. The direction is more and more particular , this paper studies the PLM-based collaborative CAPP for manufacturing, realize managing the data of CAPP system on PLM platform by the integrated framework and collaborative platform, then solves the disjointed problem between process design and production, and improves the process design efficiency and reduce the product cost.First, the paper analyses the basic flow of collaborative CAPP for manufacturing, which includes resource kanban, collaborative personnel selection, collaborative process design and so on. And then the paper introduces the total study content, and analyses the difficulty and basic resolving.Second, this paper study resource state kanban, which is to integrate process design with manufacturing plan. The paper builds data model by matrix tool which displays the resource state in the appointed lead time, and the resource state kanban provides reference for process design. The paper also solves the problem of resource conflict.Third, the incorporate study between PLM and CAPP, is to build the collaboration process design environment by the unitive BOM data structure and collaboration tools, bases on resource state kanban, and solves the problem which exists on the process design. The process data related to the process design, is divisioned by structured and non-structured, and managed by the file server and database server. The work flow management and organization right management is realized by customization and second-development on the basic function of PLM.In the end, according to below content, I develop the related function on the base of inforecenter PLM and inforecenter CAPP, realize resource state management, process collaboration design and so on, combine the process design and production, realize the share and integration of information, improve the collaboration among departments, and strengthen the competed ability of enterprise.
