The Chinese Tobacco Industry makes an important role in the nation economy , and it is the important taxation source of our country. With sharpening the global trend of economic integration, especially domestic tobacco market gradually opening up after China's access to the WTO, the Tobacco Industry on the basis of the electronic accounts, data concentration urgently need for further information construction and the tools that use of a large number of historical data reasonablely and effectively, in order to strengthen its overall competitiveness and business capacity. Business Intelligence a collection of concepts, methods, processes, as well as software, rising in recent years, effectively useing of enterprise business data and helping enterprise improve decision-making capacity and operational capacity. This paper, based of the existing tobacco business systems, designs and implements a business intelligence systems for tobacco industry, by analyzing the practical requirments of the tobacco industry and of business processes and integrating business intelligence technology,.The difficulities of requriment acquirment to business intelligence systems is one of the main problems during development. This paper, based of the project background, proposed a "the integration of business data, management-oriented decision-oriented" development strategies, and put forward a thread of requriment acquirment based on the premise that analyzes bussiness, through fetching "key business objects - key business process - critical point - key business department".Building data warehouse is the focus in the development of business intelligence systems. The paper designs and builds a data warehouse,through the idea "conceptual design - logic design - physical design", and describs the the multidimensional model on the basis of concrete products.The problem that the choice of graphics displaying report, should be based on functional analysis.This paper introduces the application environment and effects of common graphical visualization by showing system running-rendering, raises a montion trail model that is fit for the analysis of brand management in tobacco industry on the basis of the Boston matrix model, and put forward two solutions for the control of system access.
