In 2001"The 21st century Economy Report" and "Economical Observation Newspaper" started to distribute, on November 15 ,2004, the first trans-regional, cross media's nationwide finance and economics daily paper "First Finance and economics Daily paper" began publication.. In January 2006, "The 21st century Economy Report" changed from twice every week to third times every week. Along with the fast development of finance and economics report, the research about finance and economics report also increased in recent years, but most of them are about the development of finance and economics report and the development strategy. Today when the economy and the media are all in fast development, it's not enough to discuss develop, we should focus on the brand making, only with that can we meet the need of further development, the need of readers. Brand making mainly involves the localization of brand and the brand promotion.This article discusses the brand making and focus on brand theory, the brand newspaper's characteristics and the importance of finance and economics reporting. Brand making must first have an accurate position to the newspaper brand, finds out it's own goal reader and goal sponsor, establishes it's own publish strategy. Then the newspaper must have unique personalized core competitiveness what other newspaper can hardily duplicates. Finally, the brand also cannot leave the promotion. This article argues vigorously to do some foundational work to the research. of finance and economics class newspaper brand making.This article tries to cut into this question from the practice angle, and try to fuse the dissemination theory, the economic theory, the brand management theory and media brand making theory together, not only limited in news dissemination theory frame.
