The Establishment Of University's Data Center System

In recent years, Chinese educational information develops quickly, and the level of educational information increases continuously. On one hand, the scope of educational information extends continuously, having covered all levels of various schools; on the other hand, educational information has overlaid many fields such as the management of personnel, of students, of scientific research, of official business, of instruments, of library and of educational administration. With the development of information in the institutions of higher education, the problem of information standardization becomes more and more conspicuous. Because there is no integrated technique standard, many information systems are not compatible with each other, and the systems can not proceed the valid information transformation with each other to share the resources. As a result, a lot of isolated islands of information appear, and people cannot share the information resources with each other.Under such historical background, the data center emerges with the tide of the times. As the sharing terrace in the school, the data center collects and stores the basic data of each business section to realize the unified management, to guarantee the authority of the data with accurate, to provide various applying systems and service systems for each business with data support. The data center also undertakes the tasks of storing the large quantity of information in the campus and processing and handling results of the information. The contents of its development includes: the development of information standard; the establishment of the data managing system; the establishment of the share database; the establishment of the global data diagram.The thesis introduces the structure of the data center, including the total structure and function module as well as demanding analysis including the demand of management, of role power limitation and of information announcement. Then the thesis clarifies the key techniques that the system adopts, such as UML the technique of setting up the mold, the frame of Apache Struts, JSP, JavaBean, label base, JDBC and the technique of linking the database and other important aspects. After that, the implementation of the system is introduced, including development method and realization of each function module, the display of interface, statistic function and the principle of autonomic generation of menu. At the last, the execution environment, the configuration and deployment of the system are introduced. The conclusion and the work in the future are presented.
