In recent years, with the rapid socio-economic development, the fire safety sectors and industries, in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, continue to grow and develop. In order to adjust and integrate the national fire sectors, fire industries, enterprises and the public's multi-resources, all parties need to build a broad participation and market-oriented operation of the "Fire Safety public information service platform" ("Fire in Inner Mongolia Online" website) so as to provide comprehensive services for both the public and the fire information industry.In today's information age, the public waste a great amount of time and efforts in retrieving the information they need in a broad array of fire information. In 2005, Web2.0 technology is warmly welcomed by the entire Internet industry. The Internet is the face of an unprecedented speed to change. As the most popular next-generation model in the Internet, web2.0 can be a very good way to integrate information, improve organizational forms, so as to give great help to the constructions of the official fire website.This paper illustrates the Web2.0 concept and also gives a general introduction of Web2.0 characteristics, the currently-involved general areas, the basic theory, values, business model and security. It focuses on the application of Web2.0 technologies developed by "Fire in Inner Mongolia on-line" network platform in details. "Inner Mongolia fire online" network platform has been put into use. It provides the "quality" service with the public satisfaction, the rich content and information timely and user-friendly, pro-forms and personal services. The platform is divided into two parts: Administrative and Business. The former collaborated with fire management sectors, publishes news, announcement, complaints, and other public information; whereas the latter mainly provides various types of information, E-commerce and security training and education for small and medium enterprises and the public.This paper systematically formulates the composition, features, functions, structures, operation modes, back-office systems and the specific technologies on the "fire in Inner Mongolia on-line," and conducts a preliminary exploration of its problems arisen in the process of development...
