In recent years, TV talk show programs concerning people's emotion are more andmore popular and create higher and higher audience rating. As this kind of program hasengrossed the prime time of channels, and even been a rage, it's inevitable for us to figureout: why those programs are so hot? when the topics go more and more sentimental, howto go after gain and avoid defect? As the influence grows further and deeper, how we canfollow the rights and eliminate the bads ? Nowadays, these can't be a need but a reality .On one hand, during social transition period, the populace's spiritual wants are so intensethat they need a public platform for their emotional communication, a valid way for theiremotional vent. On the other hand, we should get all the influence that television mediaexert on sense of worth, state of surviving and conception of interpersonal relations undercontrol to avoid the public's tumult and herd behavior.The research on those programs mostly came of the 21 century, and led to a few literatures. This thesis focuses on the hottest TV talk shows in recent years, to supplement new thoughts to the previous researches. According to the high audience rating involving the social background, it induces the characteristics and the reasons why those programs are popular .Via case study and specific analysis, it also concludes the planning and operating mode of those programs. And finally, it presents 6 questions and their respective comments in reply to audiences' questionings to those programs and provides the corresponding countermeasures.
