The Base Hardware And Smart Terminal Research And Design For An Embedded Vehicle System

With the development of computer technology, embedded system has become animportant part of the computer field, and it also becomes the research focus. With the prominentfeature, such as small size, powerful performance, lower power dissipation, high reliability andspecial purpose, embedded system is widely used in national defense,consume electronic,networking communication, industry control field and so on.In this paper, we discuss the issues refer to R&D the intelligent terminal which is based onARM for vehicle. It uses S3C2410 as the embedded CPU.An embedded system's hardware ismade up of the CPU and some aid circuits.This achieve system is constructed on this platform.At the beginning of this thesis we described the embedded system and embedded operatingsystem. The ARM embedded microprocessor and how to choose an embedded microprocessorare depicted in detail .Then we introduce its functions in detail:Firstly, the bace hardware of smart Vehicle system is designed:We divided the process intotwo parts, the kernel part and the expansion part. The kernel part includes the basic module ofan embedded system, and the expansion part includes the basic expanding interface circuit. Thismethod is very important to this system; it can not only shorten the periods but also reduce theexpenditure.Secondly, wireless Internet access: This system uses MC35i as wireless communicationmodule, by designing hardware circuits and coding dial-up routine, we finally completed thewireless internet access function.Thirdly, it is very dangerous, as we all know, when driving with a phone in hand, and, it isalso forbidden in law. We design a system to pick up phone with out hands. The system is basedon FM, we also research this system realized through Bluetooth.Finally, we made a conclusion of the functions we had achieved, and we also list somefunctions needed to be improved.
