The high speed rotary device is the key equipment in process industry, such as compressor,turbomachine,pan and so on. Resonance vibration caused by unbalance influences the ordinary operation of equipments, so rotor's balancing is the critical factor for solving this problem. Introduced several control methods in order to eliminate unbalance faster and better.Introduced a new Automatic Balancing Head that can overcome the problem of saturation in the normal liquid auto-balancing Head. A new PID control method had been used. The method was based on the theory of internal modal control. The new control method had been used in the experiment, and it showed the control method was reliable and had good performance when the environment had been changed.The neural network model was one kind of the parallel computing systems which was composed by a lot of simple, high interconnected neurons. It worked well in domains of function approximation, pattern recognition, fault diagnosis and so on. In this article, introduced and compared BP neural network and RBF neural network with their characters. Discussed the possibility of neural network if it could be applied in active balancing system, and bring forward several problems that must pay attention to and given the method how to solve it.
