The Expanding-Capacity Programming And Optimization Project Of GSM Wireless Network Of Nanyang Mobile Company In 2007

This paper mainly studies the expanding-capacity programming and optimization project of GSM wireless network of NanYang Mobile Company in 2007. Some useful creative results are obtained during the work practice.This project is carried out for the network expanding-capacity programming and optimization of the high traffic peak during Chinese New Year in February 2008. It summarizes the general process of network expanding-capacity planning, illustrates the data needed and work contents in each process. Based on these works, different methods are used to estimate the peak traffic, number of consumers and overlay requirement in February 2008. A capacity station is planned according to the peak traffic; an overlay station is needed according to the overlay requirement, the quantity of the exchange and the BSC are given according to the peak traffic and the requirement of consumers. This paper also summarizes the general process of the wireless network optimization, explains the wireless network optimization data needed and work contents in each process. Finally, it describes the details of Nanyang mobile company network optimization work: the whole net wireless warning and handle, the data checking, the optimization of parameters, the optimization of frequency, the optimization of hopping-frequency, the traffic balanced, the optimization of interference, antenna and cable system etc.The innovations of this paper include the system of balance optimization data pick-up and analysis, the frequency optimization system, exploitation of the same and adjacency frequency inspection tool to check the hidden troubles in network quality, using the utilance of wireless channel to run the TRX dynamic state tune fast, using the macro of EXCEL to compute the traffic. The principles, algorithms, actualizations of these new features, sources of data and how to use them are discussed respectively in this paper.
