| The real time processing of the video data is an important research task in multimedia area. The technology of video compressing has the giant affection in digital TV, high definition TV and multimedia application.Recently the technology of semiconductor and design of embedded chip have got many good production, embedded multi-processor is the best advanced one of them. With the people's demand about the all kinds of video information becoming more urgent and facing the new increasing video service, the key of solution in video application is making a system which is basing on embedded chip and putting the video codec into it.Through the analysis about the H.263 video CODEC protocol, I learn the detailed method of the encoding and decoding. Based on the research of hardware architecture in embedded multi-processor CT3400 designed by Cradle Company, I grapple the features and using characteristic about this chip. This paper raises a whole design plan that is video encoding -decoding protocol implementation on the hardware based on the analysis. Using the actual different procedure feature of encoder and decoder and the ability of multi task parallel processing in embedded multi-processor I propose a modularization design about the whole video encoder and decoder system. In detailed design of encoder and decoder, I made use of the characteristic that multi-processor's different core have different processor method, and planed a parallel procedure of encoding and decoding, got an integrated design. And at last I got the demonstration of the whole system. Furthermore, this paper also has the research about video transporting protocol in network and rate control strategy based on H.263 protocol.This paper analyzes the H.263 video encoding protocol and the feature of chip CT3400, get the design of the real-time encoding and decoding system, propose the DEMO. There is some research of network protocol in video transporting and rate control in encoding. |
