This paper describes the development of industrial control networks, describes it is inevitability that the Ethernet enter in industrial control field, and then introduces the theory of industrial Ethernet protocol system, focusing on various floors of the main agreement was analyzed and explaines the need for ordinary Ethernet need to be improves in several aspect such as real-time, reliability, open areas in order to enter into industrial Ethernet control filed, and also introduces real-time database and OPC technology.In the industrial Ethernet applications, details the industrial Ethernet in the FGD system applications by a practical engineering in following aspects:Introduced several major power plant desulfurization methods in today's China, focuses on limestone - gypsum desulfurization system of principles, system structure.In a practical power plant desulfurization system improve project, for example, introduces the whole system architecture, details control methods of several key subsystem, and focus on the limestone slurry added the system's hardware and software configuration.Proposed fuzzy and PID combination control methods to improve traditional control method in the limestone slurry added on system.At present the system has been successfully running and has achieved good economic returns.
