The multi-source information fusion system under modern warfare conditions is based on a network, which is huge and complicated. The historical experience show that it is impossible for a system to maintain its efficiency, when the system it based on failed. Thus, it is necessary to research the error and attack tolerance of information fusion network and seek means of getting the high survivability. The multi-source information fusion system is an open complex nonlinear system; its behavior is complex and is impossible to be predicted. So it is hard to research invulnerability of the information fusion system.Firstly, this paper reviews the current research result of network dynamics. Modeling network and studying its dynamics can simplify complexity of systems and their behavior, the research result of network dynamics offers advanced tools for study on complex fusion networks. The current research of multi-source information fusion system neglects the network dynamics of system. This paper combines information fusion and network dynamics, researches the information fusion system invulnerability based on network dynamics.Secondly, this paper analyses the measures used to research complex network invulnerability. These measures, such as connectivity, cohesion and so on, are not suitable for study on invulnerability of complex information fusion network. Network coverage is proposed as the measure of invulnerability based on time-delay and system coverage. This paper presents a scale-free information fusion network model, and studies its invulnerability based on network coverage. The scale-free information network is robust to random failure, but vulnerable to attack.This paper proposes two measure of invulnerability for error and attack. Three strategies of transforming network topology are studied. The relation between the property of network topology and the invulnerability is researched. Finally, we propose a repair strategy of scale-free network under the attacks. We analyze the efficiency, cost and effect of the repair strategy. Simulation analysis shows that we can reduce the repair cost and improve the repair efficiency by repairing the huge branches in the big task regions.
