The Application Of Using Vision Sensor To Check Medicines And Chemical Reagents Production Date

The production date detecting of medicines and chemical reagents is very important in medicines and chemical reagents production line. High detecting precision and reliability are demanded and have the direct impact on the production efficacy. Vision sensor is the more intelligent sensor at present technology. The vision sensor checking system has been already broadly used in the fields of the automobile and the packing of products. But now the production date detecting of medicines and chemical reagents is still processed by using the people eyes. Because of the fatigue restriction of the people eyes, workers must have a rest after checking 2 hours. Otherwise, the detecting accurate rate will reduce. If the medicines and chemical reagents are once found not being printed the production date after leaving the factory, the manufacturer must recall this batch of the products and carry out the detecting again. This will increase the production cost.Aiming at the shortage of using the people eyes to check the medicines and chemical reagents production date, this paper has brought forward the possibility and advantage of using the vision sensor to check medicines and chemical reagents production date. A set of vision sensor monitoring system has been designed and the feasibility of the system has been tested through the simulation experiments. In the thesis, the constitution of the vision sensor system and the process of catching an image through this system have been discussed in detail. Using vision sensor instead of the people eyes to check can make the work go faster. This kind of detecting can be repeated many times and carry out the consistent checkout with much lower cost, and this helps increase the production efficacy.
