Research And Implementation Of Constructing Method Of Service System Based On Portal Technology

Along with the booming Computer Technologies, especially the Internet related technologies, more and more people have been taken on the Internet, which has brought great requirement of Internet Application. During this process, resources sharing and business collaboration are two critical problems of the Internet Application. Now, scholars and professionals are dedicated to find an appropriate form of the Internet Application with which they will construct a new era of Internet.Service Science is a brand-new research subject generated just in such a context, with two main objects of research: service and service system. Service is the core element of a service system, but the service can only make sense while being supported comprehensively by a service system. Therefore, it could be considered that the service system is the ultimate goal of Service Science while the service is the key stuff of the goal. But a reality of Service Science is: most of the researches are based on or related with service, while little researches are carried out on service system.Research from service system angle is a kind of research whose primary target is to construct an appropriate service system based on certain demands, and is an up-to-bottom research method. There are many common problems during the two main phases of constructing a service system: designing phase and developing phase. Research on the construction of service system is just a way to analyze these common problems and try to provide feasible solutions for these problems.This paper focuses on the constructing problems of service system. Firstly, a constructing method of service system that is derived from practical developing experience of constructing service systems will be introduced. Then, a service integration architecture based on Portal technology and a particular service model, which is designed according to the constructing method, will be presented. At last, a real project: SDMSP(ShanDong Manufacture Service Platform), developed according to the method and the architecture based on Portal technology, will be described in detail to serve as an example for realistically using the method and a feasible architecture of a service system based on Portal technology. The SDMSP's solutions for some problems which are not closely related with core architecture but still important will be introduced.
