As a necessary equipment used in modern clinic, the anesthesia machine is not only applied in the medical operations to hocus the patients but also substitute the self breathy of sufferers through mechanic ventilate. The anesthesia machine is a complex system, it touchs upon machine, control, medicine and other areas. In China the anesthesia machine is low-productive and intelligentless, and a lot of anesthesia machine was imported from other countries. Therefore, developing a novel intelligent anesthesia machine is very meaningful in theory and in practice.We develop a control system of intelligent anesthesia machine. The control system uses DSP technology and realizes the function of control and management, which include autonomous breath, synchronous breath, the detection and alarm of various parameters. We also realize the display of graph and digital of all parameters with display technology of LCD screen.The hardware of this system is modularized , including seven units, that is, the modules of processor, input of the keyboard, the display of the LCD screen, control of the output, information collecting and processing, safe guarding and alarm, power supervisory system.Based on the hardware, we develop a software system which is safe, reliable and efficient. The software is modularized which contains six modules, the main program, the processing of display, the output management, program of information collecting and processing, the keyboard management, the safe guarding and alarm module and some transforming programs.In order to make that the information we collect can exhibit the state of anesthesia machine and the physical instance of patient, we develop an Adaptive-fuzzy filter algorithm which has the advantage of the middle filter algorithm that reserves the edge of the signal and the characteristic of the average filter that is very smooth, so it takes effect in practice.Through actual test we find this machine can run stably and safely and it has reached our design requirement.
