The Study On Cinema Building's Function Extension And Space Design Methods In Information Age

Along with the network and the digital technology which are the representative of the arrival of the information age, home theater, virtual cinema and many other new screening methods have emerged. The traditional theater position has been seriously affected. Many new requirements to cinema construction design have been raised. It is urgent to find more abundant theater design methods and concepts in order to enhance the adaptability and appeal of cinema.Based on the information age as the background, to enhance attractiveness of cinema is a focal point, and " Cinema should fit contemporary film consumption " is the thought guide. Through analyzing and studying the functional and communicating modes of cinemas in previous periods, this paper gives the new characters of the developing directions of function extension and the composing modes of cinemas'functions in the information age, using comparative and economical methods. Furthermore, new characters of the main composition and design methods of spaces are discussed from the perspectives of walking routs, consuming structure and information flow. Finally, the developing trend of cinemas in the information age is predicted with the analysis of representative cinemas both at home and abroad.The paper says the"aggregating effect"in economy also applies to the functional distribution of cinemas in the information age. Mixing distribution mode should be adopted in order to optimize the system, unblock the information flow and represent the time media character. Cinemas in the information period have already been a combination of solid and virtual spaces. The functions are being multi-explored and the spaces are of publicity, variety, openness, participation, technology and art. Therefore, the design of cinemas in the information age should lay emphasis on the communication between people and the cinema, the humanity of the spaces, the active radiation of the information joints and the intelligence of the management.It is hoped that through this analysis some useful advice on the information age cinema construction design methods and concepts can be promoted and more in-depth thinking can be brought.
