| Nowadays, the process of enterprise information has improved enterprise's core competitiveness dramatically. Some enterprise application shortens the execution cycle, improves the efficiency of business process and brings down the costs of business process. These systems support enterprise's future strategic decision by providing powerful data statistics and analyse. However, systems deployed on different platform can hardly communicate with each other effectively because of their different development technique.In the process of developing a R&D management system for department of science and technology of Tianjin University, to achieve the cooperation and integration of different departments'heterogeneous systems, this paper presents a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) based solution.This solution divides the application system into two layers: service layer and application layer. Service layer provides the abstract phase between traditional business process and application layer. The service in the service layer encapsulates the business unit and business process logic. After analyzing some SOA's techniques, our system uses Web Services as service layer, and adopts Apache Axis2 as the server of web services. Application layer encapsulates application logic to achieve concrete functions. The system employs J2EE architecture to implement the concrete business functions.SOA divides a system into several services, and provides interactions independent of programming language and implementation platform. This character enables the interaction between services of different systems and makes effective use of the existed system. It also enables new application system to be easily integrated and extended.The implementation of this system achieves the purpose of information interaction and integration of business process between heterogeneous systems. Every part of this system has high reusable ability, and can fit the changes of business process rather well. |
