Secret message can be hidden in the redundancy of the multimedia data. However most of the existing information hiding algorithms are irreversible. In various applications such as law enforcement, medical imagery, etc, the requirement of image quality is very high. In these applications, after extracting the hidden message, the cover image should be recovered. Therefore the technique of lossless information hiding comes up and develops.Meanwhile the technique of detection of hidden message is developing too. In order to provide a more secure algorithm of information hiding, the algorithm should be able to resist detection. On the base of studying and summarizing the existing algorithms, this paper does some research on lossless information hiding against RS detection. And this dissertation has two innovations:(1)The RS algorithm can provide high capacity of information, and after extracting the hidden message the cover image can be recovered. But it can not resist the RS detection and the secret message can be easily detected. To solve this problem, this paper introduces the negative flipping and the algorithm uses the two flipping methods to embed message. The results show that this algorithm can resist the RS detection well.(2)The amplitudes of the flipping are different. This paper introduces the human visual system to adaptively control the amplitudes of the flipping. The results prove that this algorithm can determine the embedding amplitudes according to the structure of the cover image. At the same time, this method can resist the RS detection.
