The rapid data processing in developing Internet has provided a convenient channel for information processing,but also has brought various challenges for the confidential information transmission in communication.Protecting the confidential information from various attacks has always been the major issue in information security study.As a research branch with importance in information security,information hiding technology can achieve the secure transmission of information by hiding secret information in ordinary media invisibly.Some existing information hiding methods often cause the carriers part of the data to be lost or changed by the embedding of secret information.By contrast,the carriers with confidential information in lossless information hiding schemes can be recovered without any change in texture structure and data content,two algorithms are proposed as follows:1.A lossless information hiding algorithm based on histogram shift in AMBTC domain is presented.Firstly,aiming at the improvement of the capacity and robustness of the algorithm,the chaotic scrambling transform and the run-length coding are simultaneously applied to the secret information preprocessing.Secondly,histogram shift technique is used to hide the secret information in High and Low average sequences generated by the AMBTC encoding of the carriers.Similary,the extraction of embedded secret information can be come out by the inverse operation based on histogram shift and AMBTC.The texture structure and pixel structure of the carriers will not be changed after the embedding and extraction process,as a result,the algorithm can be regarded as lossless method.2.A differential histogram shift lossless information hiding algorithm based on LBP face texture feature domain is proposed.The information is hidden in the face expression areas of the multi-carrier,and the secret information is also operated by encryption.Using multiple facial expression images as carriers,images texture features are extracted by using local binary patterns,and the secret data is embedded by recognizing facial expression regions.The difference matrix of adjacent pixels in the face expression area is calculated,and the embedded space is constructed by shifting the histogram of the corresponding elements of the difference matrix.Finally,the reversible concealment of information and lossless recovery of the carrier images can be achieved.The dissertation mainly focuses on the application of lossless information hiding algorithm in digital images.Respectively based on single carrier and multi-carriers,both of these algorithms are proposed to solvethe contradiction between the embedding capacity and the robustness of the algorithm.Experimental results indicated that these algorithms are with better robustness and larger capacity compared with some other methods.
