With the quick development of internet, wireless communication and multimedia technology, information hiding technology had been a hotspot. Lossless information hiding is an important branch in information hiding. Lossless information hiding method was widely used for medical image, remote-sensing image and so on. Lossless information hiding method based on image and video had very important theoretical significance.This dissertation focused on several research aspects:An improvement was made to Thodi algorithm in two aspects: predictive error algorithm and embedding algorithm were promoted. Lossless data hiding method based on linear prediction realized secret transmission of a large amount of hidden information in images.After analyzing Tian and Alattar algorithm, a novel lossless information hiding method based on integer linear transform was proposed. The near character of pixels could be analyzed. After the less distorted revisable vector was transformed by integer linear transform, hidden information was embedded by pair-check modulation. The method didn't need to save message of revisable vector and then embed larger capacity of hidden information.According as the characteristic of secure storage and management for video in medical database and other color video, a simple data link frame was used during data hiding processing scheme based on the lossless data hiding method using linear prediction algorithm and integer linear transform algorithm. Two methods had been applied to hiding case history in medical image. So that it was not easy confusion between medical video and case history of patient. These were used for medical data base management and remote diagnosis and so on. Two methods realized simply and better experimental results had been given.Designed and achieved image lossless information hiding system based on linear prediction algorithm and improved integer linear transform. Text or image message could be embedded in different host data in this system with simple and convenient operation. It was good used for information storage and management, information security and so on.This dissertation focused on lossless information hiding methods based on image and video. In the future, we need to research on improving the security of embedded information of image and video.
