According to the requirements of measuring rubber thickness in the tire industry,a novel laser displacement sensor based on duallightis designed in the earliermeasuring distance work, which is paved the way for further measuring thickness.The laser displacement sensor is widely applied in measuring and testing fields for themerits of noncontact,great information quantity and flexibility. The paper is based ontraditional noncontactoptical triangle method, with semiconductor laser as source oflight,duallightas receiving signals mode and CCD as photoelectric converter.Through specified laser driving and image processing circuits, the correspondingrelationship between the spot on CCD and displacement is realized.The main work in this paper contains several aspects as follows:1,A nalyze the parameters related to optical triangle method, which include theq ,a, b, j and d, and then specify the optimal parameters?2,Set up the relational expressions between the spot on the CCD and the twodimensional coordinates of target in the mode of duallight?Validate the resolution inthe duallightis higher than the single with Matlab simulation?3,Complete these design about Mechanical configuration designing, machiningand fixing according the sensor arrangement, including the regulator frames ofsemiconductor laser, focusing lens and CCD?4,Implement the laser driving circuit based on the core device PIC18F448,containing the hardware design, PCB design and software debug?5,In this paper, the image acquisition and process unit are realized, which theprinted circuit boards and relevant software programming are accomplished.Moreover, whose performance is tested on an experiment facility that simulates thefunction of the whole sensor?6,By virtue of Labview technique, the serial communication between PCB boardand PC is accomplished, so as the interface between human and computer, whichdisplays the realtimedisplacement information of target.
