At present , the railway transport develop toward high speed and over loading .So the train wheel is abrasion become more and more important. And the detection of the train wheel is abrasion become more heavily. The tradition method is inefficient and maybe more problem. Because of this problem, this method can not match the development of the railway transport. So, it will have extensive application prospects to research and produce a high precise and large scale untouched online detective system that can measure the abrasion of train wheel at same time.At first, we studying and analyzing existing measurement methods of own country railway system. At present, our country railway system detect the abrasion by hand. The kind of method is not very efficient and the precision is not very high. So the development of our railway is restricted by this method. On the basis of studying and analyzing our country and abroad is online measurement methods, we bring forward our system is technology project. Our system choose optics trigonometry, this method is simple and precise is high. Want to make this system is precise become more high, we find the middle of defocused spot.Following circuits are designed: choose the CCD, the drive program of CCD, processor of CCD video frequency is signal, sampler of microcomputer data and circuit of microcomputer interface, and the communication program of SCM and PC.We analyze the testing results , and the result show that circuits designed and software projected have attained expecting objective, operating of system is steady and reliable. It proves that this method has great practical value.
