The Design And Implementation Of Data Broadcast System Based On DVB

Along with the development and promotion of digital television technology, people require not only video and audio information, but also want to get more information from television. Data broadcasting is a new television service different from traditional audio and video service. Data broadcasting system bring more functions for user, such as graphics, text, online upgrades, games and data download, and etc. And it can also support interactive features if network supported. There has a large number of television users in our country, the research and development with local characteristics of the data broadcasting system could conducive to enhancing the level of Chinese information.The thesis introduce the background of data broadcasting system and developments in the world. And then outlines the MPEG-2 and DVB standards, discuss the distinction of data Carousel and Object Carousel. After detailed analysis the structure of data broadcasting system it introduce the hardware and software design in the receiving end. The work in the thesis is focused on how to realize the proposal of the front end and receiving end. The thesis detail analysis the specification of DVB broadcasting, design a convenient and effective data structure to encapsulate the web files. We construct the important fields such as service information, PCR , CRC and others in accordance with the MPEG-2 transmission standard. And finally package all the data into transport stream. It described how to realize the data receive, analysis, reorganization and the management of data broadcasting programs in the receiving end. It also introduce the browser module integration, the important interfaces between browser and system software. Data Broadcasting integrated into the system software in digital video box, and tested in the actual transmission environment , the various aspects of functionality and performance can meet requirements.
