Along with the development of ocean scientific technology, the research for visualization of oceanography has been an urgent question. The technology of 3D scalar data visualization supplies an effective method. As the ocean data is usually very huge, how can exactly and fast show it is our struggling goal.People gradually realize that single computer can not feed the computation that cosmically science needs, however, parallel computer can satisfy the great challenge computational problem. To improve the level of parallel computer is every country's goal, and it has been a standard for one country's science, economy and national defense. America has started a project called "high performance computing and communications"on 1991, Japan also started "huge computation - the way of Japan to survive ", Europe started a plan of trillion computer, and china puts parallel computation as important technology .In this paper, firstly, it introduced the technology of visualization and how to create a parallel image. It studied the parallel volume rendering of 3D data, and worked out a part of applied job.1,Using shear-warp it realized ocean area between yellow sea and east sea ,the 3d formula grid data was got at 1998(120°E~130°E,29°N~35°N),the depth is 0~400m.2,The dissertation proposes a parallel shear-warp volume rendering algorithm based on dynamic data distribution. Making use of the idle Broadcast communication line, the algorithm performs data distributing and rendering in parallel. While keeping the previous algorithm's efficiency ,the algorithm avoids redundant data storage. The improved task distribution strategy avoids imbalance load between computing.
