Energy are vitally to a country's economy development, because industry develops so quickly, the energy requirement is growing day by day. Recently, along with the shortage of petroleum and the leaping price, as an irreproducible energy, coal, its exploitation and using has reached a certain extent, and the safety problem is so important that it must be resolved promptly. Especially, the grave and outsize accident takes place continuously which threaten the life and health of miners. The high frequency accidents attribute to the immaturity monitor equipment and the behindhand management means.Aim at the safety of excavating laneway ventilation, the real-time system of a wireless monitor for excavating laneway frontal input air is studied. The system can monitoring and controling the excavating laneway input air live, and avoid the current means' disadvantage. It transmits signals and displays the wind speed momentarily, gives an alarm by light and voice, and cuts the power necessarily.On the basis of analyzing domestic and international situation of wind speed measure technology and close quarters wireless transmitting technology, combining the design requirement of general technology qualification of the mining sensor, the paper puts forward the overall plan of the design, and discuss in detail its theoretical foundation, implementation methods and the design of hardware and software. Based of AT89S51 signal-chip computer, the system consists of some unit circuits, such as data acquisition, wireless mode, digital display, giving an alarm by light and voice. According to the element requirement used in volatile gas, calculates designing safety parameters. The software is designed with the programming method of the modularization, adopt assembler and KeilC integrate environment.The successive experiment proved that the system can measure the excavating laneway frontal input air exactly, have a better practicality prospect.
