The Research On Information Processing Of Phags-Pa Script Based On Unicode

There are five forms of Mongolian,Phags-pa Mongolian which named Phags-pa script is included,but now there only three of them are using,the Traditional Mongolian,Todo Mongolian and Cyrillic Mongolian.Phags-pa script is a kind of characters based on Tibetan,which was created by Phagspa,a GuoShi in Kublai Khan period in Yuan Dynasty,and Kublai Khan gave the order.From 1269 on, Phags-pa script had been used for about more than 100 years.The references show that Phags-pa script has been recorded into many kinds of languages such as Mongolian,Chinese,Sanskrit,Tibetan,Turki language etc.The most of references about Phags-pa script are kept in china.All over the world, scholars have been done lots of researches on Phags-pa script,and have got amazing achievements."Mongolian references collection for Phags-pa script",which is published recently,is a comprehensive bookmaking about Phags-pa script,and it is also a vital of importance reference of this dissertation.In 2005,Phags-pa script Unicode is formulated by Unicode organization.The aim of this thesis is to cope with information processing of Phags-pa script based on Unicode,the works below:1.Design and construct Phags-pa script TrueType Fonts based on Unicode.2.Design and complete Phags-pa script IME based on IMM/IME frame under Windows.3.Establish Phags-pa script reference corpus according to "Mongolian references collection for Phags-pa script". 4.Make statistics on Phags-pa script reference corpus,show the results.
