Since the end of the last century, the entertaining function of Chinese TV programmes became a trend all over the country almost over one night.As the entertaining function is becoming stronger and stronger, it leads to the enlargement of the shares of entertaining programmes in TV communication. Moreover, this entertaining trend is spreading to other similar types of programmes.Not exaggeratingly, Chinese TV media has entered an era of civil entertaining carnival.In the author's point of view, any simple dualistic judgment will not be beneficial to the solving of the problems brought by the entertaining of Chinese TV programmes and the over-entertaining goes after it.Only by analyzing the identity and driver of entertaining of TV programmes and the over-entertaining thoroughly according to some scientific theory can the Chinese TV media communication face the dilemma and break out of it.This paper tries to analyze this problem from an overall point of view using phenomena analyzing, identity analyzing, attribution analyzing, problem analyzing and countermeasure analyzing, in hope of benefiting the developing of entertaining of TV programmes and TV communication. That's where the meaning of this study lies.
