With the increasingly vigorous competition among modern hotels, the informationization of hotel management is the trend of social development. As being in large-scaled extention, Xi'an JB hotel needs the MIS(Management Information System) more urgently.Based on the relational theory of MIS and the decision analysis technique of DW(Data Warehouse),OLAP(On Line Analysis Process),this paper takes the Xi'an JB hotel as objection, focuses on the design of Hotel MIS project, summarizes the application actuality home and abroad, analyses the present problem in hotel management. As a result, we gain the Xi'an JB hotel MIS which includes the hotel internal business processing subsystem and hotel decision support subsystem.As for as the internal business processing system, because of the mass function, we only emphasize on the import function ,such as the reception and register subsystem, the finance subsystem. According to the manage demand and characteristics of the hotel management, the thesis designs the new process of the loading sates management on MIS and the graph of room state. The process broke the interval between the section, making the work that guest room manage to moderate efficiently. Aim at the decision support sub-system, the thesis designs the frame construction of the decision support sub-system according to the technique of DW and OLAP, and combine concrete characteristics and innovation request of the guest room management and hotel management, designed a corresponding OLAP star type model, raised the analytical efficiency and analytical quality.The design project that thesis put forward passed by to negotiate with the JB hotel of Xi'an many times, had got the approbation.
