With the rapid development of electrical industry in China, the power grid of different voltage is coming into being ,the power network is more and more complex and the demand of electrical control is higher than before. As a kind of economic and efficient measurement of improving power system stability, the generator excitation control and steam-valving control become more and more popular. However, only one of the control can not improve electrical transient stability, and also we can not get the better control result. Therefore, the generator excitation and steam-valving coordinated control is more significant for the stability of power system. In this dissertation, on the basis of existed-results, the dissertation designs a kind of generator excitation and steam-valving coordinated controller. This coordinated controller can get the better control results. The research has a better significant.The main content as follows: Design a generator excitation and steam-valving coordinated controller based linear optimal control theory. By the simulation of Single Machine Infinite Bus Systems (SMIBS), the dissertation concludes that it not only can improve the transient performance, but also damp low frequency oscillations. On the basis of fuzzy control design, using the advantage of self-study and self-organization of neural network, the learning procedures are finished by the software of MATLAB. By the studying, the control rules are memorized by the neural network. This makes the coordinated controller more being self-learning. The generator excitation and steam-valving coordinated controller is simulated by the SMIBS. By the comparison of linear optimal coordinated controller, the coordinated controller based fuzzy neural network gives satisfactory static and dynamic performance and has good robustness.
