The U disk has become a data storage device which is popular with the large consumer Currently because of the advantage of taking conveniently,the quick speed of transfer,link flexibly etc. But the data of common U disk is written and read with plain text,lacking of essential safety measure,so it is easy that betraying important message.Therefore, it needs assure the safety of information in the U disk to a certain degree by encrypting U disk.The text offers a hardware data encrypting U disk project based on permutation code arithmetic which is countering the insufficiency of U disk encryption after the research on the techniques of the common encrypting arithmetic and U disk encryption.The hardware encryption of U disk data is proceeding during the data transmission in the project,and making the data is written with cryptograph format finally,then realizing the hiding of information,and making the illegal customer can't obtain the true contents,so it is assuring the security,integrality and reliability of the data.The project not only goes forward original function prossessed function expansion of security,but also adopts the permutation code arithmetic of hardware realizing simple and encrypting quickly,and realized with hardware completely,and manipulation is simple,and the speed of encryption is fast.The text researches the encrpytion project from the aspect of encrpytion techniques and software design.In the aspect of encrpytion techniques,it analyses the DES arithmetic,RSA arithmetic and permutation code arithmetic seriously,consequently,educing that permutation code arithmetic has a certain extent advantage at encrypting capability.In the aspect of software design,it processes designing for the driver programme of device,firmware loader programme and the application of hardware device of the encrpytion project.
