At present, systems on chip (SoC) have become the direction of IC design. Design, validation and test have become big challenges in the SoC design. To simulate the hardware using software has become a very important process in the SoC design.In this paper, SystemC, being used frequently and AT91 microcontroller based on ARM core are analyzed. A pure functional SoC model platform is constructed using SystemC under the Linux environment. The primary component required for running a simple Operating System, such as CPU, AIC, TC, USART have been realized. In the last, the validity of this platform was tested by compiling and transplantingμC/OS-Ⅱon it.
