The Research Of Material Management Based On Information Technology

The material management in modern power project is developing in the direction of low inventories, low-cost, but high efficiency. Based on the analysis of actuality and existing problems in material management of the power project, this paper put forward a method to improve the management efficiency and information degree in material management. The method is to build a material management information system using modern information technology. The character of this system is all the management data is accessed in a central database. Assigning different operating authority to different users, making the material management more concentrative. This paper dissertates the developing environment and correlative technology such as 3-layer distributing system designing idea, Web Service technology, workflow and system developing tools and so on. Later, this paper analyses and designs a lot of subsystems such as equipment management, material management, basic data management, synthesis management, synthesis query system, OA system and so on. At last, using an example to validate the material management information system in power project.
