Each software developer thinks about that how to solve many software industry questions such as productivity, probability, interoperability, maintenance and the documents. Model Driven Architecture which proposed by Object Management Group is a software development methodology. The goal is to carry out factorization production of software through setting up the executable models, to solve the software industry questions such as productivity, probability, interoperability, maintenance and the documents, to reduce the software development maintenance cost, to advance the development efficiency, to reduce the influence to the system when demands change, to extend the system's life cycle and so on. Although the core UML standard is necessary in the MDA process, it is actually insufficient to establish the executable model. xUML has solved many different meanings of the UML, and simultaneously also increased the executable behavior definition for the suitable UML model element, so it is enough to establish the executable PIM. First, the background and the significance of MDA is narrated, the core technologies is introduced, the composition structure and the development model of MDA are analyzed, and many MDA related standards such as unified modeling language (UML) are introduced, meta object facility (MOF) and common warehouse meta-model (CWM) is also presented .Then the xUML (executable UML, is equal to that Standard UML has removed the semantic weak element and has joined the precise definition movement semantics) is discussed in details. The merit of using xUML to establish model is introduced. The similarities and differences between xUML and the standard UML are analyzed. The process of using xUML to establish model is described. Finally , anexample------clothing management system are presented to carry on the detaileddiscussion of using xUML to establish model, including of the using xUML to establish use case model, partiting system to many fields, establishing class model in each field, describing behavior of the class and alternately between the classes in each field with model, integrating the field. It is a pivot of this article that ASL stipulates the actions, that is to say, executable part of xUML is a pivot of this article.
