Data of information system which is more and more important is enterprise's asset in the crucial component. How does data provide safe and steady services for the information system, which becomes the concern of enterprise customers. The popularity of Web-based information system has brought on that distributed database is used widely, but the task in distributed database backup and recovery often encountered complex operation, inconsistent data state, and other issues, leading enterprise backup data is not available or difficult to manage, which has seriously affected the data security. Therefore, to propose a convenient and effective Distributed database backup and recovery Mechanism on multi-platform become the exigent needs of corporate users.This dissertation systematically analyzes the traditional theory of the data protection, the research status of the data protection, existing backup and recovery mechanisms. In the discussion of Distributed database backup and recovery model's application background in the multi-platform, this dissertation proposes the architecture of the model, discusses the backup and recovery of the overall solution which is layered structure and studies the three run mechanisms of the model: distributed database backup mechanism, distributed database recovery mechanism and dynamic task scheduling mechanism. Then, this dissertation studies the three key technologies which realize the core components and the main functions of the model: In the distributed transaction management technology, this dissertation studies the theory of distributed data consistency. In the database backup and recovery agent, this dissertation proposes agent model of some typical database products, and describes the called method of original backup and recovery tools. In the data capturing technology, this dissertation designs perfecting data capturing and storage mechanism based on the existing data capturing theory. Finally this dissertation achieves the main functions of the prototype system based on the model and its key technologies and JAVA EE relevant technologies, and then applies it in the development of Huai Bei Coal Mine Security Management Information Platform (HBCMSMIS).
