Cultivating a large number of application-oriented, skills-based talents is the goal of China's Vocational Education and the experimental teaching is an important link of theory with the actual, which plays an irreplaceable role of training Vocational student's technology skills and innovation. Digital circuit is a professional technical foundation courses and has strong practicality.This research features the study of Vocational students and guided by the digital circuit experiment course curriculum, focus on the design and application of digital circuit experimental system. The digital circuit experimental system basically meet the teach needs of the students in vocational colleges. The experimental system can be achieved training students hands-operation, expanding circuit, hardware and software integration and the realization of simulation or other teaching purposes. Main contents and results include:(1) Summarized and analyzed the development of the existing digital circuit system..(2) Designed the wide-open digital circuit and EDA experimental system suitable for the Vocational College teaching, and detailed analyzed each module, which including 7 digital control and drive circuit, CPLD chip interface circuits, scanning drive type interface circuits, universal digital interface circuits, analog devices and interface circuits, power supply, clock source, single pulse and phase lag pulse, and so on.(3)By using the experimental system and encircling the core of ability training, about 17 experiments was designed. It will achieve the goal of Vocational Education to brining up the person with ability. There are 3 kinds of experiments: fundamental experiments, designing experiments, and integrated designing experiments.(4)These experiments introduce Max+PlusII10.2 and EWB5.0c software to realize the circuit simulation. A method of software simulation first and real circuit construction second is adopted. By using this method the success rate of experiments is improved, and the waste of experimental equipments is reduced.
