The Automation Gauge Control Algorithm Research And Realization In A Hot Rolling Mill

Plate thickness is the main quality indexes of the strip geometric accuracy. Plate thickness control system is a complex multivariable system. Hot rolled strip thickness control is one of hotspot and difficulty in the rolling field research.In this paper present situation and development trend of the hot rolled strip thickness control was analyzed, and pointed out the mature technology that the method in the hot rolled strip which further enhances to thickness control can be used in the cold rolled strip - - mass flow AGC.This paper has studied thickness control basic structure: the speed control system, looper control system, screw down control system and so on. Based on thickness control basic structure, gave the mathematical model of thickness control parameter, such as screw down system model, dynamic setting AGC mathematical model, plastic calculation mathematical model, rolling schedule calculation mathematical model and so on. Has conducted the research on the hot rolled strip mass flow AGC control principle, analyzed the difference and same point of mass flow AGC implementing agency of the cold and hot rolled strip, proposed using looper angle and roll gap closed loop method in the hot rolled strip mass flow AGC, and experimented the hot rolled strip using mass flow AGC, the experimental result indicated that using mass flow AGC in the hot rolled strip can enhance the hot strip thickness precision effectively. Designed thickness control computer system structure of the hot rolled strip using Simens TDC controller; and designed the control system second-level HMI.This paper explored a new way of using, maintaining and debugging the thickness control, and a lot of research experience was gained.
